Do You Write Love Letters?

Love Letter to a Mermaid @ LiPeony
In this age of technology with the Facetime, Skype, cell phones, email, im, virtual chats and what not it's seems rare that people send each other handwritten letters. I happen to think of this when I notice Valentine's day is quickly approaching. I also use the above technology to communicate with my long distance boyfriend but once in a while I would write a little love letter filled with my sloppy handwriting and grammatical errors filled with little hand drawn smileys and hearts all over the darn place. It's these messy tokens that he cherishes the most. I know life is hectic and there never seems to be enough hours in the day... but drop a little handwritten note/post-it once in a while...

On another note... I'll be vending at Brooklyn Flea January 23 2011. Not sure if I would have some of my prints as cards... check it out if you're in the neighborhood =)

Until next time... pick up a pen or pencil and write your heart out!

I haven't written any love letters lately, but I do write and send notes to a couple of people I know...I do think the written note is more meaningful than an electronic one...:)

A handwritten note is very special, I think..I saved many of my girls notes and have them in different books..I come across them at different times and have to admit, so happy I have them..it is kind of bittersweet for me,since they are all married and don't live here(couple hours away), but always a joy to find..
Glad you didn't get the snowstorm..very hard in the city. Bad enough in the country with snow.
Have a happy weekend and rest of this week..xoxoRosebud.
